# Different behavior when using line break between different locales

On one of my section I have a rich text field in the repeatable zone. On my main locale when I add a linebreak, this is rendering a `
` tag in the produced html through the api. However on the other locales I have (created through the feature **copy to another locale** ), it never adds the `br` tag, it only adds extra empty
tags. Is there a way to configure how a linebreak should be interpreted in prismic ? why do I get different behavior depending on which locale copy I am using ?

Hey Raffi, could you show me a screenshot of your writing room and another one that shows where the \< br\> tag is missing?
Content in different locales behave in the same exact way. And the only changes are made by the content creators.
