Hello there, I wanted to know if there was anyway to duplicate our production repository into a testing/staging repo & link testing Repo to production.

I know I can create a new repo and export documents from my production repo into the new one. But is there any other alternative without the $125/month plan?

Hello @raheim

Prismic offers repository cloning for Platinum & Enterprise Level plans only.

The best way to use the Import/Export feature (available starting with the Medium plan) is to help copy your content over. You can read more about the Import feature here. As you already discovered.

> **[Intro to Import/Export](https://prismic.io/docs/core-concepts/import-export)**
>
> Prismic provides utilities for importing and exporting documents to and from your repository in a well-defined format.

Prismic also has a feature called Themes that allows you to launch a new repository with Custom Types that you pre-configure. You can read more about it here:

> **[Create and Use Themes](https://prismic.io/docs/core-concepts/themes)**
>
> In this article, you'll learn how to create and use themes to launch projects with Prismic.

Let me know if you have any questions about any of this.

Thanks,
Priyanka

I developed a tool that uses Prismic migration api under the hood to help you duplicate Prismic repo easily. This tool is open source.
