# Enabling GraphQL and REST API on same Repository

Hello! We are looking into building our site using Gatsby. I see that one of the best ways to get up and running is to leverage the Gatsby Source Plugin.

Since we need to have Graphql enabled on our Prismic repository, would this disrupt the existing REST API that our existing site is on?

Does the Graphql endpoint replace or work in conjunction with the existing setup on Prismic repos?

Hello Graham, welcome to the forum!

These two Data Fetching languages don’t conflict with each other. You can use your repository API with both. Each one has it’s own advantages. Feel free to explore them and discover which one suits your needs the best.
