In the new UI, the map view is gone from the geopoint field which makes it almost unusable. Users really have to copy paste coordinates from an external service.
In the old UI we used to have a map view next to it. Is this a bug or is this intentionally removed?

This was removed with the introduction of the new Page Builder, in order to simplify the UX. We haven't had a lot of (if any) users give us negative feedback about this change, so re-implementing isn't currently in the works.
However we do value your insight, would you be able to let me know how you've been using it/what's your use case for this specific feature? Maybe it was an oversight on our part. Any detail you can share about the extent to which you're using it and how it impacts your workflow will help me build a case for it and submit it as a feature request.

We use this to let our clients input a specific geo location. The map was easy to validate the location. Now you only have the coordinate set which doesn't give you visual feedback.
A map with a location picker/pin would be very nice!
