# Mega Menu: Accessing sub menu items

Hello Community,

I just created the model mega menu by using this example. but I don’t know how to get submenu items. can someone help me on this?

Hello!

Could you please provide further clarification regarding your query about obtaining submenu items?

The post describes the process of creating a Custom Type for each submenu and associating that document with a particular menu item. Are you referring to these submenu items, or are you inquiring about a third level or any other aspect? Is it that you have a problem with getting these menu items in code?

BTW I had doubts on accessing Linked documents now found the solution with graphQuery
