For some reason, is there a way to transfer all of a repo's data (including media gallery) to a new prismic account?

Thanks for your help.

Hi team, thanks for reaching out.

There are two ways to go about this, depending on what you need.

If the repository itself can stay where it is and you just need a different account to own it, no migration is needed. As the current owner, go to **Settings \> Users \> Transfer ownership**. On the free plan you enter the new owner's email and it completes once they accept. On paid plans you pick the user and it applies right away. Payment details stay attached to the repository, so the new owner should update their billing afterwards. More here: [Users & Permissions — Prismic Docs](https://prismic.io/docs/users)

If it genuinely needs to be a new repository, content and media can be copied over with the Migration API. In short: recreate your content models in the new repo first (via Slice Machine or the Type Builder), then fetch each page from the old repo and pass it to `migration.createDocumentFromPrismic()`, which brings the linked assets along. Media not attached to a page can be moved with `migration.createAsset()`. Everything lands in a migration release for you to review before publishing.
