Move field to new tab

Is it possible to move an existing field to a newly created tab? This field already has data populated in it across many instances. I can't seem to drag and drop it into a new tab.

Would deleting the field and recreating it under a new tab with an identical id retain the existing field data or would we lose it?

Yes, this is possible :slight_smile:

If you move a field without changing the API ID, you will keep your data.

The safest way to do this is to move the field in the JSON editor, like this:
