# SliceBuilder gives "\[slices API\]: Unauthorized error"

Hi,  
I'm working on a website right now with nextjs with an existing prismic repository. We want to implement sliceMachine to explore what it has to offer, but we are having a hard time getting it to work.  
I used `prismic sm --setup --no-prismic ` then `prismic sm --create-slice` and it works fine, but when I try to do `prismic sm --develop` it says _[slices API]: Unauthorized_  
Any suggestions ?

Hi Farhad,

Welcome to the community!

If you would like to try Slice Machine on an existing repository, then we will need to activate it for you. I can do this for you if you provide me with your repo URL, you can send it in a private message if you don't want to share it publically.

_Note: The [Slice Library feature](https://user-guides.prismic.io/en/articles/1795688-reuse-a-slice-in-another-custom-type) is not currently available, so it will disappear if you are using it._
