.env file in prismic/slice machine project

Hi.
In your opinion, from a security point of view, is it necessary to add an .env file to a project that receives data from a prismic / slice machine?
If so, what information should be added to it?
Do I need to add the name of the prismic repository to the .env file?

Well, it depends on your application and repository authentication, so your repository is private, and your application is statically generated. You can probably have a .env file to store private data, such as your access token.
