Fetch Links: retrieve first/last_publication_date

Hello !

I use fetchLinks to retrieve custom fields of a linked document. Is it possible to do the same for first_publication_date and last_publication_date fields ?

Hi Malek, it isn’t currently possible.
The only way to get those from a linked field right now is to run another query.
I know that the Product team is working on a fix so that they are included in a Content Relationship field’s data by default.

Yes like Nouha says it's not possible for either fetchlinks or GraphQuery. We're are tracking this conversation here and we'll update this thread if/when anything changes.

Can the Graph Query return last_publication_date?

Hi @ryan, I’m very sorry for the delay, it seems that we lost track of this thread. As you’ve discovered, linked documents don’t return the first or last publication dates. And unfortunately there is no way to retrieve it using GraphQuery or fetchLinks. The only way to get it would be to run a second query for that linked document. I will let the @features-team know about this and they can add this to our feature request tracker as a possible improvement for the future.
