Documents being archived automatically

Over the last few days we have noticed that some of our documents are being archived automatically, without any action on our side. On top of that, when moving to the "Archive" section multiple instances of the same document appear.

We don't recall ever seeing such behaviour. We tried deleting the archived versions but the issue seems to persist.
