Documents with the same UID on different locale remaining unlinked. Having this issue after trying to free up an older UID which was linked to a document in one of the locales.

Thank you for contributing to the Prismic community.
In fact have the same UIDs in different locales doesn’t mean that they will be linked, and unfortunately you can’t link existing documents with same UID after they have been created.
To fix this issue you need to delete the newly translated document and then use copy to another local feature and then you can copy the content you had on your deleted document.
