I've got content editors looking for a 'Open in New Tab' option coming from link in Rich Text fields. I don't see a way on the content-modeling view to make this happen, I should assume it's not possible?

To have links open in new tabs, you'll need to create an HTML Serializer that will add the target="_blank" attribute to your links.
I've shared the link for Reactjs framework, but you can find this function in other frameworks as well. What framework are you using?
