Select field bug on placeholder value in new page builder

Describe your question/issue in detail

  • In the new page builder on select field we have set a placeholder to "default: white", and options to black, blue and pink. If we select an option eg. black, we can't select default anymore, it disappears.
    It can be done through legacy builder but is a bit troublesome having to go there...

What steps have you taken to resolve this issue already?

  • Switching to legacy builder made the default to reappear or function as intended.

Seems to be a very similar bug to this, When we copy over a page to an other market/locale that has a selected value in the select field, it can't be changed on the page we copied over to.
