I almost mess-up a custom type (template) and all there documents, because when I update a slide though the Prismic UI, it remove the Slite labels (config.label to null!!!).

I will go for this solution, because like many other people we can use Slice Machines because we don't use Next.js or Nuxt.js
But having this feature in the UI is miss-leading the developers!
I agree; we have stopped documenting Slice labels as they will never become fully integrated.
We recommend using a dropdown field inside your Slice instead; it gives you the same functionality and won't get removed when you make changes.
