Can I have a fixed Url to a content in my media library?

Hey,

We noticed that every time we deploy on AWS, the name of our media files in the URL change. To be more precise, the string of numbers and letters before the name in the URL change values, and we would like to be able to upload a media but always have the same link to it when it is accessed.

This guys => 13999bc6-4c82-4362-9cbd-00c972048876_ datenschutz.pdf

We use your media library and access the contents with link fields (link to media file.)

Hey @sideos, thanks for reaching out.

You can't change the URL name of the file. The reason for this is that Prismic is used as a CDN for assets by many services. Thus the file URL should be unique, so we prefix assets with those IDs to avoid conflicts.
