Downgrade plan to Small to Free : handling locales

Hello !

I have a client who will soon be shutting down their website, and I'm handling this. The company is being acquired, and they'll be using Hotspot, so it's the end of Prismic for them, much to my dismay.

They have a Small plan that they want to downgrade to the free version, but they currently have four locales:

en-us (master)
fr-fr
es-es
de-de

I would like to keep only en-us and fr-fr. What happens exactly when I want to downgrade to the free version? How does the back office know that I want to keep en-us and fr-fr? Is any content deleted or just frozen?

Hey @ducuingg,

The process to delete locales is to first delete all the documents associated with it, and then to delete the locale in the repository settings. You won't be able to delete the locales until they are "empty", so this is a manual process.
