I haven't found an issue in the forum that is very similar to mine so here goes. When I copied a specific article from one locale to another and tried to save it, I had the following message : "Error while saving your changes". I was able to copy that same article to another locale, no problem. Three different people tried, no success. We also checked the URL, it's fine.
What can I try?

Sorry, it's not working as expected. To solve your issue, I need more information:
- Prismic repo name.
- Screenshot of the error. If anything you get on the console too.
- Name of Custom type and uid of the document that you want to save.

My team tried to reproduce the issue again. I think you can’t save it because the Belgian doc already exists in your repository. Can you check this?

My team and I just looked into it. We have searched for the doc - by name and UID - and it doesn't exist in the French Belgium repository, or any repository - and not as archive either. Only in the French Switzerland, and French France one that we're trying to copy. We also tried to create a new doc for FR Belgium, same result.
