Key Text Field and Multiple Lines no longer working

I always used Key Text Field even for multiple lines.
And recently, it has not allowed me to do so. Was this field setup changed, or is it a bug?

Hi @victor.efetivos,

You should be able to get multiple lines in text fields by pressing shift + enter. It works for me, can you check if it does for you? And if it doesn't, could you share a Jam of this so we can investigate? Thank you!

Hey Ezekiel, thank you for your answer.
I noticed that pressing shift + enter works; However previously we would be able to get those line breaks simply pressing enter, allowing us to paste a block of text and have it formatted.

Thanks for pointing this out! What you're saying makes sense. I've passed it on to the page builder team so they can have a look - the field was modified recently to pave the way for different upcoming features, but it's always interesting to hear this kind of feedback. I'll let you know if I have an update from them about this as soon as I know :slight_smile:

Hi Ezekiel.
I really hope they roll back to the way it was before.
Especially because I have so many client projects relying in this feature, and once Prismic doesn't keep the data registered while change the type fields, it will cause a major issue.

We are count on you to help us to get it fixed.

Good news @victor.efetivos, this is something they do intend to fix :slight_smile: No precise ETA on this yet, but I'll let you know once they've addressed it. They'll try to prioritize this.
