We appreciate that waiting on a necessary feature can be frustrating when you would prefer that functionality now. We also agree that this would greatly improve the media library experience.

Unfortunately, though, this isn't a priority at the moment. This is something that we're considering but is not likely to be delivered in the next 3 months.

I know that's not what you want to hear, but we are structuring our teams to be able to better deliver on functionalities like this. So it's not an issue of being able to implement this, but more a question in terms of team availability and priorities. We've done a lot of unseen work to our systems in the recent past but are now in a position to start delivering more regularly on features people would like to see in the document editor, including on the media library.

So while we want to work on this, there are a few other things we need to get shipped before we can deliver on this. But this is on our radar, and we'll update you here once we have any movement.
