Target blank for media item and documents

Feature Idea (one per thread):

When linking (maybe from inside a textfield) to a media item (could be a PDF) or a document, then it's not possible to choose target="_blank". This would be a nice addition, often clients dont want users to leave their site to read a PDF.

Issue that it solves:

Better usability for both editors and end users.
