Unable to Publish or Save Updates on Articles

Hi everyone,

I’m running into an issue where I can no longer publish or even save updates to my articles in Prismic. Every time I try, nothing seems to go through.

Is there a threshold or limit on the number of updates, pages, or publications that can be made within a specific time period? Or could this be related to something else in my repository?

Not even seeing the “save” button after performing some edits. Any insights or troubleshooting tips would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

Hi @Marving,

Not seeing the “Save” button is likely linked to the auto-save and real time collaboration rollout we announced recently: Real-time collaboration rollout . However it should be saving properly, and not preventing you from publishing. Are you seeing any errors, or any specific blockers when trying to publish? Let me know!

Seems alright now.. No save button indeed but the publish button do publish. Maybe on my plan I have a limit on POST or UPDATE in a specific time period I don’t know.

Nonetheless, I have spotted a potential bug:

If I double undo with a shortcut like CMD + Z, it seems to erase completely everything in the article :open_mouth:

You shouldn’t have a limit there - we’re working on adding a save indicator for this to be clearer, but you just have auto save on which means your changes are saving as you go. No need for a save button

I’ve not been able to reproduce this, can you give me a little more detail? Is this when you’ve just created an article, or in one that’s been saved already (if you’re able to tell)? Better yet, if you can record a Jam of this behavior then we’ll see exactly what you’re seeing and we can investigate from there.

Hello,

All good on my hands now.

But yeah it was when creating a new article, performing an undo twice was completely erasing the content of the article
