Default content for slices

Feature Idea (one per thread):
Be able to define default content (copy or images) for slices

Issue that it solves:
We often have a debate about making slices fully editable or making them more generic in order to be reused in different places with minimal extra work.

Having default content for slices would solve that, since slices could be added to pages with a default content and could be adapted quickly in the places where it's required, withouth having to add again the entire content.

Overall it would be a lot more scalable

Hey @josselin.milon, thanks for the feedback. We have had internal discussions in the past about creating the possibility to add default values to the fields but we haven't yet got to any conclusion about when or how we would start actually developing this feature.

I'm going to mark your thread as an open feature request. If we ever have news about this feature being developed we'll announce it on all of our platforms.

Thanks Paulina! At the moment, our solution is to create default content slices and to have another version with fully customizable slices, so that'd be a way to make it easier to maintain, especially for marketing teams.
