Downgrading plan before renewal

Hi!

I'm hoping to downgrade my plan from Starter to Free before my upcoming renewal (next week). The app settings will not let me do this because of our overages for this most recent month, and is saying I must wait to downgrade until next billing cycle. I have no problem paying the overages, but do not want to be charged for the upcoming month.

Can someone assist me?

Welcome to the community! Indeed, you're not able to downgrade to a different plan if your usage is currently above its limits. You'll be able to downgrade the day that your usage resets - but you need to make sure that your usage doesn't go over the limits of the free plan, or else you'll just be automatically upgraded again. Could you downgrade when allowed, and then reach out to support through the help portal here once that's done if you need help with the billing that ensued?
