i am getting a similar error. i followed this tutorial (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cc37uTnbEos), and am getting the same " An unexpected error happened while creating slice Hero."
I haven't done anything but follow the steps outside of adding my own wordmark, so not sure what is going on. any thougths would be appreciated. thx

@daniel9 areou're using the latest version of Slice Machine? Also, is there a change that you're still using the legacy builder at the same time?
If there's a conflicting slice with the same name it can cause an error
