Favicon.ico upload issue

I got this error when uploading our favicon.ico file to the media library, which I was then going to link over to our "Global" custom type.

Are .ico files not supported? If not any ideas to a Favicon workaround? Host it elsewhere? Use a PNG?

I can see the issue and I'll let my team know about this.

Meantime, You can try the following options:

  1. Try to change the extension of the image from .ico to jpg or png, and upload it again.
  2. Or place the favicon.ico file in the root of your project, and give the link of this file in the <head> section. For this, you might need a developer. Are you a developer?

Hi There

Where is the option to upload and use the favicon in the head section. I'm a bit lost on how to use the file from the media section or if there is a place for the favicon image to be loaded.

Welcome to the community :slight_smile:

You need to create a field for this in the custom type, add it to the document, query it in your project, and template it in HTML.

Are you the developer of this project? If not, you'll need to contact them so they can implement this for you.
