Login with Slice Machine failing on demo project

Hi, just wanted to let you know that you are not alone.

I'm trying to install the tutorial demo on my macbook air M1 and I have the exact same issue with the 3/2 completed.
Also when I try to log in from the Slice Machine page I'm blocked in a login loop with github, I got the log in option and every time I click on the github log in option it loops back to this same page...

Hi @paul6 ,

I've moved your question here because your situation is different than the previous user. Their issue was to do with a Linux sandbox environment with no browser access to complete the login workflow.

My feeling for your case is that you maybe your Github and Prismic accounts have got conflicts.

Did you sign up to Prismic with Github or with just your email?
Is it the same email as your Github?
If you want to link the two you might have to delete and recreate your Prismic account.

thanks for your answer.
I decided to remove all the project at once and install it after few days and now everything works fine...
My guess is that there was maybe some issues with the sveltekit starterkit command line provided when installing a new project? :blush: :thinking:
Anyway, now everything works as intended, so.. back to the tutorial :muscle:t3:
