Numeric CMS input entry with keyboard's numeric keypad doesn't work

In the Prismic CMS admin UI, where there are numeric input fields, an admin user cannot use a keyboard's numeric keypad to enter the data; the user can only use the keyboard's top-row numeral keys.

Confirmed on multiple computers with different hardware/software configurations.

Any ideas on how to resolve this?
