I created a site using Prismic and haven’t touched it since the end of June. When I reopen my Prismic site, all the content and models are removed. I can’t push any new models since it exists on my local GitHub repository. This left me with creating a new Prismic repository altogether and the error probably has to do with the fact that Prismic updated? But was wondering on advice on how to prevent this for the future since it was quite time consuming to recreate the whole site on Prismic again.

What steps have you taken to resolve this issue already?

Pushing models / recreating the Prismic repository.

None of the changes we’ve made on our side would cause breaking changes like this.

To help me understand better, could you share a bit more about what you saw when you reopened the repository? You mentioned having your content models in Git, which is great, is it possible that someone from your team had access and made changes to the documents or models directly?
