Rewrite image URL - Ruby on Rails

For SEO purposes, we would like to rewrite images URLs and not having a combination of letter/number into it such as: https://images.prismic.io/tourcrib/aa62ad2c-f9be-4d87-8ab0-5ef8f3be0dce_coverss.jpeg?auto=compress,format

Do you know how we could do such things with Prismic and Ruby On Rails?

We've discussed this topic in the past in different threads. It isn't ideal because it removes the auto-compress format and all the Image optimization possibilities as well.

@Pau same discussion, yes, the tradeoff of image optimization for a bad SEO is not something we want to make, can you work on a solution so that images have a friendly name + come from our own domain ?

Hey @sebastien.vassaux, we don't have any updates about this feature request. An alternative would be to use a Link field to add the URLs of media items hosted in a different hosting service that allows you to customize the domains.
