I stumbled upon this post as I have a use case for nested lists.
Is there any roadmap for these type of features on the new page builder?

Hi David,

This feature is still not in the immediate roadmap. As you've seen we're concentrating on feature parity and some other priorities.

When we add this to our priorities you can rest assured we'll update this thread :slight_smile:

Hi @gallegogarciasergio , one of the product teams at prismic is looking into the content modelling limitations currently experienced by Prismic users. As part of this topic we aim to tackle nested lists. I don't have a timeline on when this particular item will be prioritised but will update this thread when I know more.

Could really use nested lists! Seems like a very basic feature that should be included, but somehow isn't, That and tables. C'mon Prismic!

Hi Prismic team, I think this should be prioritized, it's a basic feature of any rich text editor, and a common tool for editors.

I wanted to mention what you've said here

As you may have seen weā€™re currently working on rebuilding the entire editing experience, and we are excited to share that we have our first alpha release. You can sign up to our waitlist and read more about it here

We want to clarify upfront that the first release will not include nested bulleted lists. This rebuild was an essential first step, laying a robust foundation that will enable us to iterate quickly and add new features in the future.

You can, however, expect some enhancements to the UX of our Rich Text Editor in this initial release. We will make sure to provide an update in this thread as soon as we have a timeline for when we will start working on nested bullet lists.`

As a developer, I can understand the whole marketing cha cha cha, but as a client/customer, this is just a way to make fool of us all.

We're talking about a mandatory feature that every cms has but, for some strange reason, prismic doesn't. I don't know why, but sometimes prismic makes me love wordpress again. :slight_smile:

Hey everyone ā€“ really appreciate all the input on this thread.

We know nested lists are a pretty standard expectation in a rich text editor, and we get how frustrating it is not to have them, especially when it blocks important use cases like the ones outlined above. You're not alone in asking for this, and it's something we want to support.

That said, weā€™re constantly juggling priorities and focusing on the features that bring the most value to the most users. Recently, thatā€™s included support for table fields, the launch of team spaces and custom roles, improvements to the link field, and some big strides in AIā€”like generating slices directly from images.

This request is still very much on our radar, and we agree itā€™s something we need to tackle. While we canā€™t give a firm ETA yet, itā€™s not forgottenā€”and we hope our track record shows that when we commit to something, we deliver.

I will update this thread as soon as I have any updates on this.
