Our clients have noticed that they had some duplicate tags in their repo, we advised that they should got through all documents and delete the incorrect tags and update with the correct ones.
This exercise has been done. However, the old/redundant tags are still showing when selecting tags either in the Main Space filter or Page Builder tag area. This is problematic as the client wants their content team to the able to only be able to see and therefore select the correct tags.
Sorry it's taken a minute to get back to you. Are you able to get a recording of this behavior? Preferable with Jam, which will capture the browser console and let us know if there's any errors happening when the tags are being deleted. Thanks for your help!

For this I clicked a tag that I know doesn't apply to any documents, but there are several erroneous variations (as you can see). Getting those removed is imperative.
Thank you for the Jam recording. Can you confirm none of these tags have documents in Archived, Releases, or anywhere else? Sometimes that's why tags won't get deleted. If this isn't the case, we have a known bug with not being able to remove empty tags.
