Medium plan changed - where did the SLA go?

Hi guys,

I just noticed all the plans on the pricing plan changed.

The most noticeable change was the SLA - it used to be SLA (99.95% API uptime) for Medium but now there is no SLA for Medium, and 99.9% for Platinum.

Is it correct to assume that existing customers will be grandfathered in under the old Medium SLA e.g. SLA (99.95% API uptime)

Thanks!
Tim

Hey Tim,

Indeed the pricing page has changed and we are no longer offering this SLA on Medium plans. Existing Medium plan users will be grandfathered into this SLA Guarantee until the end of 2020 or the end of their current term (whichever one is longer). Any new Medium plan subscription will no longer benefit from this Uptime Guarantee.

For more details on this, you can check out this post.

Thanks,
Adrien

Hey Adrien,

Thanks so much for the explanation.

Does the ‘current term’ mean the life of the plan? Or does the current term end at the end of the current billing term, e.g. 30 days or 365 days.

I’d assume it would be the life of the plan e.g. if we kept renewing the same plan we would keep the terms grandfathered based on when we initially signed up?

Cheers,
Tim
