Previewing with password protected site?

We have just set up nginx basic auth on our demo site and the preview functionality is no longer working.

I'm guessing this is something to do with Prismic not being able to access the site anymore but am not quite sure what the exact issue is.

Does anyone have any ideas? Would allowing the prismic server IP make any difference?

If so, which IPs should I whitelist?

Thanks for contributing to the Prismic community.
In fact, I'm not sure that this is an issue from Prismic side, it seems that you need to white list the Prismic domain.

I will check with our DevOps team and get back to you if I have any information.

So I've checked with our DevOps and turns out there is already an article regarding the IPs to white list etc.

One thing we not sure of is the previews with auth, but as far as we know it should ask for user/pass while configuring the preview like https://username:password@example.com
