Prismic saying page exists via unique ID but there's no such page

Hi,
I've currently made 2 types of templates on prismic: let's say layout A and layout B, I'm trying to create a page with layout B but it says the UID that i entered already exists for layout B but there's no such page! Checked archived, planned, nothing - need help ASAP. Thanks!

The UID is unique throughout your project and is stored historically - see this:

UID This value is already used by another document

For the moment this is the solution to this: What to do when a UID value is already in use by another document I know this isn’t ideal and I agree it can be frustrating so I’m tagging the @features-team to make them aware of this. Hopefully, we can discuss improving UID management in the future as a better solution to this. If/when we make any changes in this process we’ll give an update here. Thanks!
