Prismic has the following limits on API calls:
- Free, starer, and small plans: 4 million/month
- Medium plans: 5 million/month
- Platinum plans (soft limit): 10 million/month
- Platinum plans (hard limit): 50 million/month
We also monitor CDN bandwidth usage (including API and asset delivery). The soft limits are the following:
- Starter and small: 100GB/month
- Medium: 500GB/month
- Platinum: 1TB/month
- Enterprise: Custom
These are soft limits. Meaning that we will not shut your repo down or limit your website in any way if you have a surge in traffic. If you exceed your limit you will be charged $0.20 for each additional GB ($0.17 for Platinum plans) --- although you will also have the option of upgrading to a plan with a higher limit.
In the case of free plans, we will contact you directly to let you know that you need to upgrade.
The bandwidth plans also have hard limits:
- Free: 100GB/month
- Starter and small: 500GB/month
- Medium: 1TB/month
- Platinum: 5TB/month
After you hit the hard limit, your API will be rate-limited.
How to monitor your usage.
We offer a clear picture of your number of API Call and of your bandwidth usage. To observe that you can navigate to your Dashboard in the Settings section.
You will be able to have a view of the last 3 months of data usage with a day to day details of your CDN bandwidth.
