I wanted to report a bug on the media search.
When you enter a label in the search field and you want to filter by type "Document" you lose the label and the search is not performed on the expression entered.

Thanks for pointing this out! I tried to reproduce it and had the same result, so I submitted a ticket to our dev team.
We're planning an overhaul for our media library eventually, so it's likely that the fix will get folded into that project.
For now, if you'd like more fine-grained search functionality, I'd suggest using private notes in your assets:
