Cross-site Cookie Warning on Google Chrome

Hey guys,

Google Chrome v84 is showing this warning (on the console) on our website:

A cookie associated with a cross-site resource at http://prismic.io/ was set without the SameSite attribute. It has been blocked, as Chrome now only delivers cookies with cross-site requests if they are set with SameSite=None and Secure. You can review cookies in developer tools under Application>Storage>Cookies and see more details at Chrome Platform Status and Chrome Platform Status.

Is this something that needs to be fixed your end or is there anything we can do at our end?

Any info would be great.

Hello, welcome to the community forum!

This cookie warning that won’t cause any issues yet. It’s a Chrome policy that will be updated in a future version of Chrome, we’re currently working on it but that won’t cause any issue for now.

If anything changes soon we’ll add updates about this here in the forum.

Hmmm, I'm experiencing these chrome warnings again now.

Are you still seeing this? I can't recreate it. Can you send a screenshot? What version of chrome are you using?
