I have a task to document all of our images that are missing alt tags in the media library. Is there a way to directly query the media library?
I don’t think there is currently, unfortunately. It would be really useful I agree!

It’s true, as Max says it’s not currently possible. This is an open feature request though, but not something currently on our Roadmap.
I think your’s is a good use case though so I’m adding this to the details of the requests for the team to see. If/when they have any updates on this or need more information they will update you here.

Even a simple media query for type = "PDF" would suffice.
